聖誕節傳統歌曲《平安夜》雙語簡介
this carol was written in 1818, in the tyrolean village of hallein, by the local church organist franz gruber and a schoolmaster called joseph mohr. this resulted in one of the most popular of all carols.
1818年在奧地利一個名叫奧本多夫的小鎮上住著一個默默無聞的`鄉村神父——摩爾。這年聖誕節，摩爾發現教堂裡的管風琴被老鼠咬壞了，修理已經來不及了。怎麼慶祝聖誕呢?摩爾為此悶悶不樂。他忽然想起《路加福音》裡記載著，耶穌降生時，天使向白冷郊外的牧羊人報佳音後，高唱頌歌："天主受享榮福於天，良人受享太平於地。"他靈機一動，根據這兩句經文寫成一首讚美詩，取名《平安夜》。摩爾寫好歌詞後拿給本鎮國小教師葛路伯看，請他譜曲。葛路伯讀完歌詞很受感動，譜好曲，第二天在教堂裡演唱，大受歡迎。
後來有兩個商人路過這裡，學會了這首歌，他們為普魯士國王威廉四世演唱，威廉四世聽後大加讚賞，下令把《平安夜》定為全國教堂過聖誕節時必唱的歌曲之一。於是，這首不朽的作品一直傳唱至今。
